Perkin Kinge (born 1612) was a Parliamentarian general during the English Civil War.
Biography[]
Perkin Kinge was born in London, England in 1612 to a family of noble birth, and he was came under the patronage of Robert Devereux, 3rd Earl of Essex in early 1642. Kinge was a supporter of Parliament during its struggles against King Charles I of England's absolutist rule, and he commanded a Parliamentarian army in southern England during the First English Civil War.
