Percy Mettrick (1803-) was an American justice of the peace who served as a judge in Hadleyville, New Mexico Territory during the Wild West era. He served as judge of several towns during his career; in 1862, he survived an outlaw gang's massacre of the legal government of Indian Falls after securing a prostitute's help in exchange for his mother's expensive ring. Mettrick came to be one of the "city fathers" of Hadleyville, and he presided over Marshal Will Kane and Amy Fowler's wedding in 1870. That same day, he decided to flee town after Frank Miller's gang was revealed to be plotting to kill Marshal Kane in revenge for Miller's imprisonment, and he called Kane "stupid" for not fleeing town as well, recounting the Indian Falls massacre.
