Pelonus, son of Thrasyllus

Pelonus (438-394 BC) was a Syracusan Greek slinger who served under the Syracusan general Hipparinus during the Sicilian Wars. In 394 BC, he fought against the Carthaginians at the Battle of Motya, during which he was slain.
