Pell Street is a west-east street in Lower Manhattan, running from Mott Street in the west to the Bowery in the east. The street was named for Thomas Pell, who built a manor in the The Bronx in 1654. Pell Street was one of the original streets included in Chinatown, and the Flying Dragons gang came to control the street. Today, it is considered a part of "Little Hong Kong".
