Pedasos the Efficient (died 422 BC) was a Greek mercenary who was active during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography[]
Some said Pedasos once killed three men with one arrow. This legend made him an envied archer, although it's said that anytime someone asked him to prove his skill, he suddenly had to go do something.
In 422 BC, the Athenians hired Pedasos the Efficient to serve as their champion as the Spartans invaded Locris. He was slain by the Spartan champion Kassandra at the Battle of Sameucia.
