Biography[]
Pearl Attaway was born on 20 October 1833, and she was the cousin of Crawford Starrick. She inherited the Attaway family's stagecoach company upon her father's retirement and transformed it into a private transportation service; when the success was not amazing, she transitioned it to public omnibuses, and Attaway Transport was born to immediate success. Attaway was an on-again, off-again business rival to Starrick, and she was a sworn enemy of Malcolm Millner, a rival transportation company owner. Throughout the 1860s, she fought against him, and in 1868 she formed a business partnership with Assassin Order member Jacob Frye, who was unaware of her affiliations. She used him to destroy Millner's business before assassinating him, but Millner revealed that she was a member of the Templar Order like her cousin Starrick. Betrayed, Frye decided to hunt her down.
Frye found her at the Waterloo Station, which she ordered closed. He infiltrated the station as Attaway was standing at her desk in her private car, and he made sure not to attract any attention. Frye walked up behind her and threw her on the ground by sweeping her legs with his hands, proceeding to stab her with his hidden blades. She said that her deal with him was only good business, as one would do what it took to come out on top. Frye said their partnership was terminated, and she died of her wounds.
