
Pavel Vladimirovich Argeyev (1 March 1887-30 October 1922) was an aerial ace of the Imperial Russian Air Force during World War I, with 15 victories.
Biography[]
Pavel Vladimirovich Argeyev was born on 1 March 1887 in Yalta in present-day Ukraine in the Russian Empire, and he became a Lieutenant Colonel of the Imperial Russian Army. He joined the French Army in August 1914 and received flight training in 1915, and fought for the French 19th Corps Fighter Detachment. In 1916, he rejoined the Russians and in May 1918 returned to France again. His first victory was on 10 January 1917 flying a Nieuport and defeating an Albatros C. His last victory was on 30 October 1918 east of Quatre Champs, and he died on 30 October 1922 near Trutnow.
