Paul "Paulie" Sindacco (1937 - 1998) was the Boss of the Sindacco Crime Family from the 1970's - 1998 when he was killed in a boat explosion along with several of his body guards.
Background[]
He ran and owned Paulie's Revue Bar and the Doll's House on the outskirts of Brooklyn. His son , Johnny Sindacco, died of a shock-induced heart attack in 1992 after coming face to face with Carl Johnson after Carl had kidnapped him. His nickname of "The Invisible Don" came from the fact that rarely anyone outside the family saw him due to his being on the move between New York City and Las Vegas on a day-to-day basis.
The Sindaccos funneled money from their casinos in Las Venturas to continue their conquest of Leone and Forelli families turf in Brooklyn and Manhattan Island. Paulie was constantly going back and forth from New York City to Las Vegas, leaving the day-to-day operations of the crime family to his capos, who were strictly kept in line by Paulie himself.
Toni Cipriani shot him down in his boat, causing the Sindacco family to flee or disappear in New York City.
