Patrick Ligner (1964-) is an American lawyer and one of the three founders of the Goldberg, Ligner, and Shyster law firm in New York City.
Biography[]
Patrick Ligner was born in New York City, New York in 1964 to a family of immigrants from Ireland and Norway, and he attended New York University School of Law. Ligner became a lawyer specializing in education, constructing cases against every school that he had attended; he wrote "Five Easy Ways to Spot a Lawsuit: Rudimentary Case Construction", which became a bestseller. His brother Lawrence "Larry" Ligner would also serve as a lawyer, representing Oleg Minkov.
