Patrician Obelerio of Antenoreo (765-) was the son of Doge Encagilio of Venice and the patriarch of the House of Antenoreo from 771.
Biography[]
Obelerio was born in 765 to Doge Encagilio of Venice and an unknown wife, and he was from the House of Antenoreo. His father was assassinated in 771 by the House of Galbaio, giving him a negative opinion of the Galbaio family. However, he was made the Steward of the Republic of Venice under the rule of Doge Giovanni of Venice, who was the leader of the plot to kill his father.
