Parker Galloway (1743-1778) was a British Army soldier who was stationed in Troy's Wood during the American Revolutionary War. In 1778, he was killed in a fight with the Native American patriot Ratonhnhake:ton, who also killed three other British soldiers who were guarding a barn containing a lockbox full of British currency.
