Paganism

Paganism is the belief in many gods, worshipped in ways considered to be anti-Christian. Paganism originated in the Middle East, with the worshipping of many gods, and famous gods include those of Greek, Roman, Norse and Egyptian beliefs. Paganism prevailed in Germany and the Baltics well into the 1500s, and many Asian religions still worship multiple gods, such as Hinduism.
