
Paddy Noonan (1825-1847) was an Irish soldier during the Mexican-American War and member of the Saint Patrick's Batalion.
Biogrpahy[]
Born in 1825 in Ireland. Paddy left Ireland during the Great Famine. He joined the US Army in 1846 and was sent to Texas where he served under the command of sergeant John Riley. He deserted and joined the Mexican Army as a member of the Saint Patrick Batalion. He was captured in 1847 during the Battle of Churubusco and finally hanged during the Battle of Chapultepec.
