Oxynta of Piedmont (1061-1094) was a heretic priest from Piedmont, Italy.
Biography[]
Oxynta was a heretic preacher with low piety, but for over a decade from 1080-1094 he preached to the people of the lordship of Milan in northern Italy and managed to gain a small following. The reaction was harsh; Cardinal Evio Perego burnt Oxynta to death after two attempts to persecute him for his heresy.
