Oxfordshire is a county in England, bordering Warwickshire to the north-west, Northamptonshire to the north-east, Buckinghamshire to the east, Berkshire to the south, Wiltshire to the southwest, and Gloucestershire to the west. The region was home to biotechnology companies, major education and tourist industries, the University of Oxford, and was home to the cities of Oxford, Banbury, Bicester, Kidlington, Chipping Norton, Carterton, Witney, Thame, Chinnor, Abingdon, Wantage, Didcot, Wallingford, and Henley-on-Thames. In 2016, the county had a population of 683,200 people.
