Otto Schliemann (1903-1936) was a German Gestapo intelligence agent. While attempting to retrieve the headpiece to the Staff of Ra from a Nepalese bar, Schliemann was shot and killed by Indiana Jones and Prema Rajavansi, who were both ordered by Schliemann's superior to kill.
Biography[]
In 1936, Otto Schliemann accompanied his superior Major Arnold Ernst Toht to The Raven bar in Patan, Nepal to retrieve the Headpiece to the Staff of Ra from the bar's owner, Marion Ravenwood. After recruiting some local goons, Schliemann and Toht entered the bar to interrogate Marion, but were ambushed by American archaeologist Indiana Jones. This resulted in a gunfight, with Schliemann using an MP40 to attempt to gun down Jones. However, after Jones was restrained by Prema Rajavansi, Toht ordered Schliemann to kill both of them to ensure that no-one knew their plans. Rajavansi and Jones both used Jones' hand that was holding a S&W M1917 revolver to shoot and kill Schliemann as he raised his MP40.
