Otha Flesh-Burner was, in Norse mythology, an Orcish captain in the service of Mordor during the Third Age. In TA 2980 (4084 BC), Otha was challenged to a series of duels by the resurrected and immortal Gondorian warrior Talion, who sought to liberate his district of Mordor from Sauron's rule. However, Otha used his flaming crossbow to kill Talion once, but, after Talion resurrected two weeks later, Otha called in reinforcements, and Otha's underling Tûgog the Warrior slew Talion, leading to Tugog receiving a promotion himself.
