The Otani clan was a feudal Japanese samurai clan from Mutsu Province. Yoshitsugu Otani was a loyal retainer of Hideyoshi Hashiba and Mitsunari Ishida, and was aligned with the Toyotomi clan during the Sekigahara Campaign. Yoshitsugu was killed and the clan destroyed in the 1600 Battle of Sekigahara.
