Osiris Pyramid

The Osiris Pyramid was the pyramid in the city of Abydos, Ancient Egypt where Osiris was said to have lived in Egyptian mythology.

History[]

The Osiris Pyramid was devoted to the god Osiris, the god of the underworld and the afterlife in Egyptian mythology. In 1240 BC, Osiris was killed by his brother Set and the pieces of his body scattered, but the Egyptian priest Setna and his allies Arkantos, Ajax, Chiron, and Amanra found his pieces and reunited them at the temple after fighting over them with the forces of Gargarensis, who wanted to awake Set. Osiris was revived, and he destroyed Gargarensis' army himself.
