Ormar of Shipmouth (849-881) was an Anglo-Saxon peasant who served in the fyrd of Westmoringas during the Viking invasions of England. In 881, he served under Cyneweard at the Battle of Selesat in Yorkshire, during which he was slain in battle with the Northumbrian Danes.
