The Organization of Iranian People's Fedai Guerrillas (OIPFG) was a Marxist-Leninist underground guerrilla organization in Iran that existed from 1971 to 1980. The OIPFG, inspired by Maoism and Guevarism, rejected reformism and favored guerrilla warfare against Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's government. The OIPFG rejected the petite bourgeoisie National Front of Iran and the Freedom Movement of Iran as well as peaceful change, and Fedai guerrillas initially also criticized the Soviet Union and Tudeh before allying with the rest of the socialist camp. The group supported the 1979 Iranian Revolution, but it was suppressed by Ayatollah Khomeini's Islamist government in June 1980 due to its anti-clerical stance.
