Ordine Nuovo was an Italian fascist paramilitary group that existed from 14 January 1957 to 21 November 1973. The group was responsible for several terrorist attacks, including the 1969 bombing of the Piazza Fontana, an attack on a Rome-Messina train in 1970, a grenade attack on an anti-fascist rally in 1974, and the bombing of the Italicus Express that same year. Ultimately, the group would fail in its goals of recreating the National Fascist Party, and it would be destroyed during the early 1970s.
