Operum Tuorum Gemmam Castra

Operum Tuorum Gemmam Castra was a Roman Army camp and quarry located at the Klysma Quarry, Sinai Peninsula, Egypt in 38 BC. It was notable for using enslaved labor to mine turquoise and limestone, being overseen by the brutal Legate Tacito the Executioner, who also was an Order of the Ancients member.

In 38 BC, the Hidden One Mentor Bayek assassinated Legate Tacito as he gave a theatric speech, before eliminating Tacito's unit, killing the commander and the captain, freeing the slaves, and looting treasure. It was soon reestablished, though closed in 30 BC after the quarry was depleted.
