Operation Firîna Ajelê was a joint US-Kurdish counter-ISIL search-and-destroy operation launched on 19 September 2020 during the Syrian Civil War. The operation resulted in the destruction of an ISIL weapons cache and the capture of two major ISIL strongpoints, denying ISIL control of the area.

A team of 50 Delta Force and YPG/YPJ operatives were dispatched to secure a small Arab village in Hasakah Governorate where ISIL had established a foothold, and they started by securing a mosque which was used by ISIL as a command post. The Coalition forces held off ISIL counterattacks from the street on the left side of the mosque, and they proceeded to advance on a large residence used by ISIL to stash their weapons. After clearing the building of insurgents, they placed explosive charges on the weapons cache and destroyed it as they left, enabling them to move on their final target, a multi-story apartment on the far side of the bombed-out town. The building fell after a quick assault, but intense ISIL counterattacks briefly overwhelmed the defenders before reinforcements were rushed in to repel the ISIL attack. With ISIL beaten back, the town was left in Kurdish hands, and the US and Rojavan special forces squads withdrew from the area.
