The Al-Asadi, also known as Al-Asad's Insurgency or OpFor, was a terrorist organization founded by Khaled al-Asad in Basra, Iraq, with the goal of further destabilizing the Middle East and establishing an anarchist state. OpFor was entirely funded by Russian arms dealer Imran Zakhaev, who used the insurgency to advance his goal of global destabilization.

Following the execution of Yasir al-Fulani, a royalist and direct agent of the House of Saud, on live television, OpFor launched a full scale invasion of Saudi Arabia. Defending their ally, the US deployed to Saudi Arabia to fight the OpFor back to Basra, where a thermonuclear device was activated. This decimated both the remaining OpFor and the US task force, killing over 30,000 Marines in the explosion and from radiation.

The remnants of OpFor established themselves in Afghanistan and Pakistan, waging a bitter war against American forces stationed there, including the US Army Rangers, US Navy SEALs, and US Marines. They were eventually routed and destroyed in the aftermath of World War III, but al-Asad went on to lead al-Qatala, the spiritual successor to the al-Asadi.
