
Oleg Viktorovich Boyko (born 28 September, 1964) is the founder and chairman of Finstar Financial Group.
Biography[]
Oleg Boyko was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. He studied at the Moscow Aviation Institution and later earned an MBA from Moscow International Higher Business School (MIRBIS) in partnership with London Metropolitan University.
Oleg Boyko has built a diverse investment portfolio spanning multiple industries, including financial services, banking, IT, retail, real estate, steel, and entertainment.
In 1996, Boyko and a team of professional executives established Finstar Financial Group as an investment and management company, designed to identify, invest in, and oversee businesses for himself and other private investors.
In 1999, Boyko co-invested in EvrazHolding, consolidating three steel mills into one of the world’s largest vertically integrated steel producers. He later sold his 25% stake in 2004.
In 2002, he founded Ritzio Entertainment Group, a casino and gaming business that grew to become the largest in Eastern Europe. The company’s Russian operations ceased in 2009 following a nationwide gambling ban implemented by Vladimir Putin.
Boyko has accumulated a personal fortune of $1.2 billion and is currently focused on digital financial services, fintech, and financial technology investments.
