
Ole H. Olson (19 September 1872-29 January 1954) was the Republican Governor of North Dakota from 21 June 1934 to 7 January 1935, succeeding William Langer and preceding Thomas H. Moodie.
Biography[]
Ole H. Olson was born in Mondovi, Wisconsin in 1872 to Norwegian immigrant parents, and he became a farmer in Eddy County, North Dakota. He served in the state house from 1917 to 1919, in the state senate from 1919 to 1931, as Lieutenant Governor from 1933 to 1934, and as Governor from 1934 to 1935, serving the remainder of the imprisoned governor William Langer's term. He died in New Rockford in 1954.
