The Old Port of Montreal is the historic port of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It stretches for over 1.2 miles along the Saint Lawrence River, and it was first used as a trading post by the French in 1611. In 1976, a new port was opened, and the Old Port was redeveloped as a recreational and historic area during the 1990s.
