Oharu Miyano

Oharu Miyano (1984-) was a Japanese singer from Osaka. She worked as a bartender at Stijl in Dotonbori during the early 2000s, but she harbored ambitions of becoming a professional singer, in spite of her family's poverty. On 21 December 2006, Kazuma Kiryu became aware of her singing ambitions after meeting her at her bar and by the canal side, and he pointed the producer Tomokazu Takahata in her direction. Takahata was impressed when he heard Miyano singing to herself, and he signed her to his company, leading to her becoming a successful singer.
