Tokinobu Oda (born 1517), born Tokinobu Toyotomi, was the daimyo of the Oda Japanese clan of Owari Prefecture from 1549 until 1558, when Nobunaga Oda became the new ruler. Tokinobu was originally a general of Nobuhide Oda but was adopted by Oda Sana, the widow of Nobuhide, in 1549. At the time, he was campaigning in North Shinano against the Takeda, and led an army south into Takeda territory to relieve the fallen Oda provinces. He gained several successes during his career, and became a great general. He was the one who gained imperial recognition.
