The October 2023 Israel-Syria exchanges occurred in October 2023 when Israel and Syria exchanged artillery fire and airstrikes amid Israel's war on Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The clashes occurred as the United States warned other regional powers - including Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah - not to involve themselves in Israel's affairs, lest the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza escalate into a wider regional conflict.

On 12 October 2023, four days after Israel and Hezbollah began to trade fire in South Lebanon, a number of Syrian mortars were launched toward northern Israel. The Israel Defense Forces launched retaliatory artillery strikes before the Israeli Air Force bombed the Damascus and Aleppo international airports in simultaneous attacks. On 22 October, a new round of airstrikes on the Damascus International Airport killed two workers. On 25 October, eight Syrian Arab Army soldiers were killed and seven others were injured after Israeli fighter jets carried out airstrikes on Syrian military infrastructure and mortar launchers in the countryside of Daraa Governorate. On 30 October, the IAF struck military targets in southern Syria in response to rocket fire directed toward the Golan Heights.
