Octavian Claudius Britannicus

Octavian Claudius Britannicus, born Osbert, was an Anglo-Saxon artifact collector from London who settled in Ravensthorpe, Northamptonshire during the late 9th century AD. He became obsessed with Roman culture and artifacts, assuming the Latin name "Octavian Claudius Britannicus" and paying the Viking warrior Eivor for each Roman artifact he delivered to him. Octavian also developed a rivalry with the London relics collector Maximus, who had stolen a prized legionary statue from him.
