The Nugget Casino Resort is a casino hotel in Sparks, Nevada. The casino was founded on 17 March 1955, and a second tower opened on 26 December 1996. The Nugget has become famous for hosting one of the largest rib cook-outs in the country, as well as for its massive Fourth of July fireworks shows.
