Nuccio Barberan (died January 1500) was a Borgia messenger during the Renaissance era. In January 1500, Niccolo Machiavelli had Ezio Auditore da Firenze chase down Barberan as he ran towards the Colosseum with an encoded Borgia letter, and Auditore tackled him, retrieving the letter. He then proceeded to kill him and steal the 1,500 florins and the black pepper that he was carrying.
