Nozzo Contarini

Nozzo Contarini (died 1476) was a public official of the Republic of Florence during the Renaissance era. Contarini traded dignity for coin by bearing false witness against Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and he was in the pocket of Rodrigo Borgia and the Templar Order. In 1476, Auditore murdered Contarini after Paola Ferri suggested that he needed to lower his notoriety. Contarini was stabbed by Auditore's hidden blades while walking down a crowded street.
