Nothwulf Barber

Nothwulf Barber (822-) was a Northumbrian Roman Catholic priest who lived in York, Yorkshire during the late 9th century AD. In December 875 AD, despite being intimidated by the Red Hand brigands, he reluctantly helped the Viking warrior Eivor to investigate the Order of the Ancients' activities at York Minster. There, he and Eivor discovered that the Bishop had been burned to death by the Order.
