The North Sea is a marginal sea of the Atlantic Ocean located between the British Isles, Scandinavia, and the Low Countries. The sea is 600 miles wide, and it is a center of the fishery business and maritime trade, being the location of several Hanseatic League ports and the location of the Vikings' main voyages.
