The North Caucasians are a cultural group native to the northern parts of the Caucasus region, including Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Adygea. The culture includes Chechens, Lezgians, Dargins, Avars, Abkhazians, and Circassians, and most of them are Sunni Muslims.
