Nordin Amrabat (31 March 1987-) was a Moroccan-Dutch soccer player who notably played as a winger for Watford FC and Malaga FC.

Biography

Nordin Amrabat was born on 31 March 1987 in Naarden, North Holland, Netherlands to a family of Sunni Muslim Berbers from Morocco. He had planned to study management, economics, and law when he was signed on to Almere City FC, accomplishing his childhood goal of becoming a soccer player. Amrabat represented PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League in 2008, and he was signed to Galatasaray on 12 July 2012. In January 2014, he was loaned to Malaga CF from Spain for six months, but he decided to extend the loan for a full season; he played 12 games without scoring, less prolific than his first six months. He failed to make the Olympics soccer team alongside Ismail Aissati, but Amrabat was signed to Watford FC on 18 January 2016.
