Nomoto Enterprises

Nomoto Enterprises was a Japanese yakuza organization based in Tokyo which was headed by Tetsuo Nomoto during the 1960s. Nomoto Enterprises rivalled the Sanko-gumi for control of Tokyo's prostitution and drug trafficking markets, and, in 1963, former police detective Joji Mizuno, hoping to avenge the death of his partner Koichi Takeshita, infiltrated Nomoto Enterprises and played them and the Sanko-gumi against each other as a double-agent while investigating who headed the call-girl ring responsible for Takeshita's murder. Ultimately, Nomoto Enterprises was destroyed in a Sanko-gumi attack on Nomoto's mansion which also resulted in the extinction of the Sanko-gumi.
