Nireus (died 1183 BC) was King of Lelegia Minoa in the Aegean during the Trojan War. The son of Charops and Aglaea, he was one of the suitors of Helen and was thus bound to participate in the Trojan War. Nireus killed King Telephus of Mysia's wife Hiera in battle, but he was slain by either Telephus' son Eurypylus or by Aeneas.
