Nimrod Aloni (1973-) was an Israeli general. In 2023, the same year as his appointment to head the IDF's Depth Corps and Military Colleges, he was taken captive by Palestinian militants.

Nimrod Aloni was born in Ein Karem, Jerusalem, Israel in 1973. He became Commander of the Israel Defense Forces Depth Corps and Military Colleges in 2023, and, on 7 October 2023, he was captured by Palestinian militants on the first day of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood; online videos showed Aloni being dragged out of his home in a T-shirt and underwear.
