Nile 1883

The Nile River is a major north-flowing river in North Africa, stretching from Lake Victoria in Tanzania to the south to the Nile Delta of the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt to the north. Spanning 4,258 miles, the Nile competes with the Amazon River for the title of "longest river in the world", and it serves as the primary water source for countries such as Egypt and Sudan. The Nile splits into the Blue Nile and White Nile in Khartoum, Sudan, with the White Nile reaching Tanzania and the Blue Nile reaching Lake Tana in Ethiopia.
