
Nikola Poplasen (1951-) was President of Republika Srpska from 4 November 1998 to 6 March 1999, succeeding Biljana Plavsic and preceding Mirko Sarovic.
Biography[]
Nikola Poplasen was born in Stanisic, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia in 1951, and he worked as a politics professor. He founded the Serbian Radical Party of Republika Srpska, and he served as President of Republika Srpska from 1998 to 1999. After leaving office, he became a member of the Senate of Republika Srpska.
