Nikkyo Consortium

Nikkyo Consortium was a subsidiary of the Tojo-kai yakuza organization of Japan, founded by Masaru Sera. It served as the Tojo-kai's "black ops" group, specializing in assassination, and killing numerous Omi Alliance officers during the Omi-Tojo war of the 1980s. The corporation was based on a yacht docked at Shibaura Wharf in Tokyo, and it allied with the Dojima-gumi captain Shintaro Kazama to rein in the power of patriarch Sohei Dojima amid the "Empty Lot" dispute in Kabukicho, Tokyo. Sera ultimately gained full control of the sale of the lot to the city, and he went on to succeed Takashi Nihara as chairman of the Tojo-kai. Masashi Kunieda became the new captain of the Nikkyo-ren on Sera's elevation.
