Nikifor Yermolayevich Baranov (1982-13 August 2016) was a Russian Army captain.
Biography[]
Nikifor Yermolayevich Baranov was born in 1982 in Magadan, Russia. Baranov joined the Russian Army and became a Captain, and in 2016 he took control of an oil rig from the United States in the Pacific Ocean. The crew was taken hostage and SAM sites set up, but Task Force 141 was dispatched to the ship and rescued the crew, killing Baranov and several of his men.
