Nika Shakarami (2 October 2005-20 September 2022) was an Iranian feminist activist. Born in Khorramabad, Lorestan, she worked at a coffee shop in Tehran before participating in the Mahsa Amini protests in 2022. During the protests, she was kidnapped, held, and questioned by the IRGC for a week before being detained at Evin Prison. A week after Shakarami's disappearance, her family was informed of her death; while the Islamic regime claimed that she had thrown herself from a rooftop, a Behesh-e-Zahra document described her cause of death as "blunt force trauma," indicating that she was murdered.
