Nigel Cass

Nigel Cass was a British businessman who served as the founder and CEO of the Albion private military company during the 21st century.

Biography[]

Nigel Cass was born in London, England, the son of Gareth Cass. His father was murdered in cold blood by random gangsters, leaving Nigel with insomnia, paranoia, distorted blame, and recurring flashbacks. Cass went on to serve in the British Army special forces and found the Albion private military company, nominally seeking to end random acts of violence.

However, he held far-right views and sought to transform the United Kingdom into a neo-fascist police state run by Albion. Amnesty International accused him of being a "war criminal", and even his top engineer and protégé Hamish Bolaji fell out with him over his attempt to destroy a village in the Niger Delta with riot drones after the villagers protested against the construction of an oil pipeline; Bolaji sabotaged the drones, causing Cass to seek Bolaji's death.

In 2020, Cass allowed the rogue SIRS agents of Zero Day to carry out three bombings across London which killed thousands, leading to the Prime Minister granting Cass and Albion a mandate to assume control over the city's ctOS surveillance system and its law enforcement. The Prime Minister also granted Albion a shoot-to-kill mandate, saying that it was a drastic, but necessary measure. Cass later killed the Metropolitan Police Service commissioner in cold blood when he refused to let Cass use combat drones to assist in suppressing dissent, including by the hacktivist group DedSec, which was framed for the bombings.
