Nidaros was a Norwegian petty kingdom which existed during the Viking Age. It was centered at the city of Nidaros (Trondheim), and it was subdued by Harald Fairhair in 872 during the Unification of Norway. Nidaros later went on to become the seat of an important Christian see.
