Nicholas Markham was an American lawyer from Miami, Florida.
Biography[]
Nicholas Markham was born in Miami, Florida, and he gained a reputation as a "country club lawyer". In 1972, Markham attended the trial of the Watergate burglars, where he was persistently questioned by The Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward. Markham refused to give much information to Woodward, apart from telling him that he was not the burglars' attorney, and that Woodward would have to speak to Edward Starkey if he wanted to learn anything else.
